Luxury boutique river line, Uniworld, has promised a journey of epic proportions – a new itinerary which takes cruisers through nine countries and two continents over 46 nights.

The ‘Rivers of the World’ itinerary departs on May 20, 2023 where visitors will travel from Cairo to Lisbon along some awe-inspiring rivers and lakes on five of Uniworld’s luxurious ships.

Starting in Egypt, you’ll be one of the first onboard the line’s brand-new S.S Sphinx where for 11 nights, you’ll float down The Nile with an Egyptologist.

The next 11 nights is spend on the new S.S Venezia which will take you through the historic Venice Lagoon and then onto the Po River.

From there, travellers will head to Hungary and sail on the legendary route between Budapest to Passau on the S.S Maria Theresa. One of the shore excursions included is a private tour of the Schönbrunn Palace, the former imperial summer residence during Maria Theresa’s reign.

After that, the S.S Joie de Vivre will then take you through the best of France along the Seine for seven nights before completing the journey in Portugal on the S.S Sao Gabriel through the Douro River Valley.
