The sister ship to MSC Fantasia, MSC Splendida can accommodate 4,363 guests across its passenger decks. It was built in 2009 and is one of the largest in MSC Fleet. An all exclusive area, The MSC Yacht Club is available on board with 99 suites.

Of the 1751 cabins, 65% have a balcony. There are nine main types of cabin. Royal Suites, Executive and Family Suites, Deluxe Suite, Balcony, Oceanview, and Interior Cabins. There is a Yacht Club Class onboard MSC Splendida. Included in each cabin is a minibar, safe, hairdryer, interactive TV and telephone.

There are 7 restaurants onboard the MSC Splendida. The two main restaurants include La Reggia that can accommodate 1,154 guests across two decks and Villa Verde Panoramic Restaurant that can seat 766. Other restaurant onboard service a variety of cuisine including Italian at the L’Olivo and Mexican at Santa Fe Tex Mex.

MSC Aurea Spa on board offers a variety of thermal spas and facial treatment packages. In the Aurea Spa is a hair salon and parlour. You may use any of the 12 jacuzzis, saunas, and two Turkish Baths in the spa. There is fully-equipped panoramic gym and Zen Pool onboard and sports facilities.

The Kids Club for children aged between three to 12. It is managed by entertainment staff on the MSC Preziosa. Children are invited to participate in daily activities such as painting, board games and group games. Passengers with children can visit the Il Polo Nord water play area that is unique to the Splendida. On board is the MSC Teen Club for kids ages 13-17 have their own areas to keep them busy and entertained. Activities for teens include sports and game tournaments, dance classes, live music and disco at the I Graffiti.

“…ship was kept clean and tidy throughout the cruise, maintenance and cleaning was completed in each port. We had a balcony on the port side, which was adequate. (last year we had a balcony on the stern of the sister ship Pressiosa) cabin was cleaned every day. Double bed, sofa , desk, balcony, toilet and shower. Theme nights were advertised, but very few cruisers dressed up for the various themes at dinner.
