The battle for the luxury cruise dollar is heating up with top lines offering special flight deals, especially on Asian routes, as they present their new itineraries.
Luxury line Silversea is offering “exceptional” savings on Asian cruise packages, with free economy flights and an upgrade to business class for $999 one way provided bookings are made before July 31.
The line is also offering a free one-night pre-cruise hotel stay, free transfers between airport, hotel and ship, one free shore excursion at every port and an early booking bonus saving of 10 per cent on selected departure dates.
All-inclusive fly/cruise package fares with early booking bonus start from $5130 pp based on double occupancy in a vista suite for voyages from seven to 17 days.
A 10-day voyage on Silver Muse departing Singapore on November 9 for Hong Kong calling at Ho Chi Minh, Chan May, Ha Long Bay and Hong Kong start from $7470 pp. A 16-day cruise on Silver Muse departing Bali on December 13 for Sydney visiting Komodo, Darwin, Cairns, Townsville, Airlie Beach, Brisbane and Sydney start from $12,780 pp.
Luxury line Viking is also offering special flight deals across all classes including economy, premium, business and first-class on selected Asian cruise itineraries this year.
Guests can now upgrade to premium economy flights for an additional $1000pp, business class for an additional $2000 to $3000pp and first class for an additional $3500 to $5000pp.

A 13-day cruise with flights from Bangkok to Bali departing on November 18 will cost $5995pp economy; $6995pp premium economy; $8995 business class and $10,995pp first-class.
A 17-day cruise from Bali to Sydney with one-way flights from Sydney to Bali departing on November 30 will cost $6995pp economy; $7995pp business class and $10,495pp first-class.
