Celebrity chef Luke Nguyen, famous for his Sydney-based Vietnamese restaurant, Red Lantern, has partnered with APT once again, to take guests on a gastronomic tour of the Kimberley.

Luke will join APT’s 14-day Kimberley Coastal Cruise & Purnululu Experience with Luke Nguyen departing 8 July 2021 which includes a nine-night cruise on a small expedition ship, the MS Caledonian Sky, two nights in Kununurra and two nights at APT’s exclusive Bungle Bungle Wilderness Lodge. Prices start from $15,595 per person, twin share, plus a Fly Free offer or an early booking saving of $2,000 per couple.

Guests will share Luke Nguyen-inspired meals with the man himself as he hosts the dining experiences – including a special three-course feast at the wilderness lodge.

Commencing in Kununurra, the gateway to East Kimberley, meet Luke Nguyen for this incredible cruise of the Kimberley Coast. Venture out on daily Zodiac excursions to remote locations typically inaccessible to most travellers.

Highlights include reaching the 80-metre King George Falls, exploring ancient Indigenous rock art on Bigge Island and witnessing Montgomery Reef rise from the sea as the tide recedes. But it’s hard to beat the exhilarating high-powered boat trip through the tidal phenomenon of Horizontal Falls. There’s also an optional helicopter flight over Mitchell Falls for incredible views of the landscape.

After a night in Kununurra, just 20 guests will continue travelling with Luke Nguyen while spending their days on land soaking in the Kimberley sun in Purnululu National Park, Cathedral Gorge and Echidna Chasm. There’s a three-course open-air dinner prepared by Luke Nguyen at APT’s Bungle Bungle Wilderness Lodge, then it is back to Kununurra for the night before the journey’s end.
