Luxury cruise brand Cunard has unveiled its 2020 programme where their fleet will sail to a total of 110 destinations in 34 different countries, including eight maiden calls.

“Summer 2020 is another exciting time for Cunard filled with inspiring destinations for our guests. This programme has been designed to offer our guests more freedom and time to explore some of the world’s most beautiful and iconic destinations at their leisure,” said Angus Struthers, VP Marketing of Cunard.

The new itineraries offer 14 overnight stays and 19 late evening departures, with an average time of 10 and a half hours in port.

The youngest of the fleet, Queen Elizabeth, will be making five maiden calls to Jakarta in Indonesia, Seward in the US as well as Tokyo, Kushiro and Ishigaki in Japan.

The cruise will be making roundtrip voyages from Tokyo and Grand Voyages covering the North Pacific, East Asia and Australia with overnight stays in Hong Kong and Singapore. The voyages starts from two nights and stretches up to 18 nights.

Queen Victoria, a sister ship to Queen Elizabeth which is similar in size and layout is also making seven maiden calls in summer 2020 including Bornholm in Denmark, Riga in Latvia, Ringaskiddy in Ireland, Nordfjordeid, Leknes, Bodo and Skjolden in Norway.

She is offering voyages from Southampton to the Mediterranean, Canary Islands, Western and Northern Europe with overnight stays in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Reykjavik and St Petersburg. There are also two opportunities to voyage to Norway to see the Northern Lights.

Meanwhile the largest ship in their fleet, Queen Mary 2, continues to be the only ocean liner that makes regular transatlantic crossings. Passengers can choose from roundtrip crossings departing from Southampton or New York, alternatively embark on a roundtrip from New York to destinations like the Caribbean, New England, Canada or Europe. She also has some itineraries from Southampton to Northern Europe that offers overnight stays.

Early Saver Fares will be available on all voyages. Single guests wishing to travel in a double stateroom can pay a sole occupancy supplement of the ‘cruise fare’. For third/ fourth guests & child fares Cunard offers discounts between 10% and 60% of the double occupancy fare.
