As you would expect from a company with an illustrious history in luxury travel, cruising with Abercrombie & Kent is different.
You won’t, for instance, be waiting at the dockside with the crowds. There won’t be any crowds.
The company has launched a new concept in cruise travel – where exclusive means just that.
Private land tours, unique stays in luxury hotels – and flights included.
The concept is available on a new European itinerary which starts in the Friuli region in Italy. You’ll visit stunning lagoons and see famous Italian art and architecture.
The region is known for its special sightseeing. It’s a feast of influences from ancient Rome, Byzantine and Renaissance artefacts and Baroque and Gothic architecture.
You will also visit Venice in time for the city’s famous Biennale. And this is when Abercrombie & Kent come into their own.
Venice attracts vast numbers during its Biennale. Guests on this tour will be part of a guided experience to see this spectacular event.
Of course, food is at the heart of this amazing journey. Guests will be part of a gastronomic adventure, trying local food and meeting producers and providores.
Then, there is a seven-night cruise along Croatia’s Dalmatian coast on board Ponant’s luxurious little ship, Le Lyrial. The cruise will call at Dubrovnik, Kotor and Rovini.
The inclusions cover just about everything. For instance:
