She’s been an Australia favourite for many years. Now the Astor is bowing out – but not without one last hurrah!
You can experience Cruise & Maritime Voyages’ Astor on her final Australian Season for up to 60% off.
But you’ll have to hurry – you must book before September 3.
With fares starting from as low as $96 per person per night, guests can enjoy select voyages from Auckland, Adelaide, Sydney and Fremantle, visiting Kangaroo Island, Tasmania, Esperance, Bali and more.
The sale also includes iconic journeys through the Caribbean, South Pacific and Africa incorporating London and Cape Town.
Known for her warm, country-club ambiance, Astor carries 550 guests in 289 staterooms and has built an enviable reputation for traditional, boutique cruising.
“The sailings on offer range from 3-night short voyages at incredibly competitive prices, to legendary 54-night experiences,” said Dean Brazier, Managing Director of CMV Australia. “It’s the perfect way to celebrate the end of an era and ensure travellers have their last chance to farewell our impressive Astor.”
At 21,000 tonnes, Astor noses into harbours off-limits to many larger ships. In addition to an indoor and outdoor pool, guests can enjoy a gym, state-of-the-art spa and an expansive sports deck as well as outstanding cuisine and a range of beverages at four dining venues and two lounges. The ship also boasts spectacular cabaret-style entertainment in the Astor Show Lounge, an on-board library and Card Room.
After six years of cruising from Fremantle and Adelaide, Astor will sail Australian shores with Cruise & Maritime Voyages for the last time in March 2019.
CMV’s new ship Vasco da Gama will join the fleet from April 2019 and will begin its first Australian season in December 2019.
The sale begins Saturday 18 August.
