The Promoter is Cruise Passenger (Cruise Media Australasia PTY LTD; ABN 33 164 325 866; Suite G01, 46a Macleay Street, Potts Point, NSW 2011, Australia). Avalon Waterways supply the Prize, part of the Globus Family of Brands.

The Prize is for two (2) people travelling together on Avalon Waterways’ Romantic Rhine river cruise (WAZ), departing 7 November 2026 from Amsterdam and concluding 14 November 2026 in Basel. Accommodation is twin share in an award-winning Panorama Suite (Category B) on the Avalon Vista. The total prize value is up to $19,126 (cruise valued at $13,726, plus up to $5,400 in airfares).

The Cruise Prize Includes:

8 days/7 nights across 4 countries (the Netherlands, Germany, France, and Switzerland) with a maximum of 166 guests. Flights from any major Australian capital city up to a maximum total value of $5,400 per couple. Port charges, gratuities, and airport transfers on the first and last day of the cruise. Choice of daily shore excursions (Active, Discovery, or Classic). All meals onboard with world-class menus and flexible dining options. Regional wine and beer onboard, including daily Happy Hour.

The Cruise Prize Does Not Include:

Travel insurance. Optional excursions, upgrades, or cruise extensions. Additional accommodation outside of the cruise itinerary. Meals and beverages not outlined in itinerary. Visas, passports, vaccinations or other entry/exit requirements. Items of a personal nature such as souvenirs, laundry, telephone calls, or medical expenses. Transportation to and from the Australian departure airport. Any additional airfare costs above the $5,400 flight allowance. Any taxes, duties or government charges not explicitly included. Inoculations and all other ancillary costs. SafetyNet Protection (cannot be applied to this booking).

The Promotion entry period commences on 8th June 2026 and concludes at 11:59pm AEST on 6 July 2026.

It will be promoted via the Cruise Passenger website, eNewsletter, website and social media channels.

Entry is open to Australian residents only who are 18 years and over.

Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, suppliers, associated companies and agencies are ineligible to enter.

Entry into the Promotion is free.

Entry is via an online form requiring the following mandatory fields: First name, Last name, Email address, Postcode, and Phone number.

Entrants must check the mandatory opt-in box stating: “I have read and agree to the Privacy Policy and consent to receiving marketing communications from Avalon Waterways.”

Only one (1) entry per person will be accepted. Multiple entries from the same IP address, same email address or from automated competition entry services are invalid.

The winner will be chosen at random by Cruise Passenger at 12:00pm AEST on 7th July 2026 at Cruise Passenger’s office (Suite G01, 46a Macleay St, Potts Point, 2011) from valid entries received before the Closing Date.

The winner will be notified by Cruise Passenger, by phone and email within 7 days of the draw.

If the winner does not respond or cannot be contacted, a redraw will occur on 14th July 2026 at 12:00pm AEST at Cruise Passenger’s office.

To redeem this prize, the winner must book the river cruise no later than 3 August 2026. Bookings are to be made by contacting [email protected].

The Prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash and cannot be re-sold. Prize winner and their companion will be subject to the booking terms and conditions as outlined here.

The winner(s) and, where applicable, their travel companions, will be responsible for ensuring and checking that they hold any and all documentation required in order to travel.

This includes ensuring that they are in possession of valid passports with an expiry date no earlier than six months after the completion of the Prize cruise.

The winner(s) must apply and/or have any visas and/or other permits required for travel.

It is a strict condition of travel that the prize-winner and guest have adequate and comprehensive travel insurance (evidence of which shall be provided to Avalon Waterways if requested). This is the sole responsibility of the prize winner.

The winner(s) must comply with any and all health and other requirements for travel including, without limitation, any required vaccinations, health certifications and/or permits.

By entering this Promotion, entrants are considered to have agreed, without limitation, to these terms and conditions and Avalon Waterways Booking Terms and Conditions and Cruise Passengers Terms and conditions.

All entries immediately become and remain the property of the Promoter.

If a Prize or any part of a Prize is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter will, in its absolute discretion, substitute the Prize with another item of no lesser retail value.

The winner agrees to be featured in all follow up promotional activity. Avalon Waterways shall be entitled to make use, in any way and/or through any medium, of any comments provided and/or made by the winner(s).

Avalon Waterways reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to cancel, suspend and/or modify this Promotion, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, a change in applicable law or any other factor beyond Avalon Waterways’ reasonable control impairs the integrity and/or proper functioning of this Promotion.

Insofar as is permitted by law, Avalon Waterways, its employees, agents, subcontractors and/or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable for any loss, damage, cost, compensation and/or other expense which is suffered and/or sustained by any party in connection with this Promotion and/or in accepting and/or using the Prize.

This Promotion shall be subject to the laws of New South Wales and the exclusive jurisdiction of the New South Wales Courts.

Any personal information and/or data provided during the entry process (including, without limitation, the entrant’s name) must be valid, up to date and truthful.

Avalon Waterways and Cruise Media Australasia shall use the entrants’ personal data for the purpose of administering and/or promoting this Promotion.
