Avalon Imagery II was launched in 2016. The 361-foot river vessel has two full decks of suites with wall-to-wall panoramic windows that slide open to transform the living space into an open-air balcony. Imagery II sails English-speaking itineraries along the Rhine River. It has three decks and carries 128 passengers and 37 crew.
There are 12 staterooms and 52 suites on board Avalon Imagery II. Suites have more spacious shower rooms and sitting areas. Royal Suites are 300 square feet, Panorama Suites are 200 square feet and Deluxe Staterooms are 172 square feet. All rooms have windows, ample storage space, air conditioning, private bathroom with shower, satellite television, telephone, radio, hairdryer, personal safe, mini-bar and L’Occitane bath products.
The spacious, open-seating dining room serves a full buffet breakfast with sparkling wine and a made-to-order egg station, a lunch buffet with carving and pasta stations and four-course dinners featuring local ingredients. Healthy meal options are available and complimentary wine, beer and soft drinks are offered with dinner and lunch. The Sky Bistro offers al fresco dining and the Panorama Bistro serves light lunch and dinner.
The Sky Deck has lounge chairs, shade awnings, a whirlpool and a games area. There is an onboard fitness centre and a hair salon, which also offers manicures. Nightly onboard entertainment includes lectures and movie nights, and cabins have English-speaking TV channels and free movies. There is free Wi-Fi access, a computer area and a well-stocked library. Bicycles and Nordic walking sticks are available for guests to use.
Avalon Waterways does not accept children under eight years of age and there are no special arrangements or activities for children on its ships.
