Avalon Felicity was launched in 2010 and cruises along the Rhine. The spacious, 361-foot river vessel has three decks, a large sun deck, panoramic windows and generous staterooms. It carries 138 passengers and 39 crew.
There are 65 staterooms and four suites on board Avalon Felicity. The suites are 258 square feet with bigger shower rooms and a sitting area. The cabins are 172 square feet. All rooms have windows or a French balcony, air-conditioning, private bathroom with shower, satellite television, telephone, radio, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers, ample storage, desk, personal safe and a mini-bar.
The spacious, open-seating dining room serves a full buffet breakfast with sparkling wine and a made-to-order egg station, a lunch buffet with carving and pasta stations and four-course dinners featuring local ingredients. Healthy meal options are available and complimentary wine, beer and soft drinks are offered with dinner and lunch. The Sky Bistro offers al fresco dining with carved meats, fresh salads and soups. The Panorama Lounge has a bar and floor-to-ceiling windows.
The Sky Deck has lounge chairs, shade awnings, a whirlpool and a games area. There is an onboard fitness centre and a hair salon, which also offers manicures. Nightly onboard entertainment includes lectures and movie nights, and cabins have English-speaking TV channels and free movies. There is free Wi-Fi access, a computer area and a well-stocked library. Bicycles and Nordic walking sticks are available for guests to use.
Avalon Waterways does not accept children under eight years of age and there are no special arrangements or activities for children on its ships.
