Avalon Affinity Onboard
ShipsAvalon Affinity is a modern river cruise ship launched in 2009. The 361-foot Affinity cruises the Rhine, Main, Danube and Moselle rivers. It has three decks and carries 138 passengers and 39 crew.

There are 65 staterooms and four suites on board Avalon Affinity. Avalon Suites are 258 square metres with floor-to-ceiling sliding-glass doors onto a French Balcony and a spacious lounge area. Deluxe Staterooms are 172 square feet with windows or a French balcony. All rooms have air-conditioning, private bathroom with shower, satellite television, telephone, radio, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers, ample storage, desk, personal safe and mini-bar.

The spacious, open-seating dining room serves a full buffet breakfast with sparkling wine and a made-to-order egg station, a lunch buffet with carving and pasta stations and four-course dinners featuring local ingredients. Healthy meal options are available and complimentary wine, beer and soft drinks are offered with dinner and lunch. The Sky Bistro offers al fresco dining.

The Sky Deck has lounge chairs, shade awnings, a whirlpool and a games area. There is an onboard fitness centre and a hair salon, which also offers manicures. Nightly onboard entertainment includes lectures and movie nights, and cabins have English-speaking TV channels and free movies. There is free Wi-Fi access, a computer area and a well-stocked library. Bicycles and Nordic walking sticks are available for guests to use.

Avalon Waterways does not accept children under eight years of age and there are no special arrangements or activities for children on its ships.
