Viking has announced two spectacular “longitudinal” world cruises, taking guests all the way between the Great Lakes and Antarctica.
The first sailing, will depart from Buenos Aires on March 2, 2023 and Viking Octanis will sil for 65 days across 29 ports in nine countries and three continents. From Buenos Aires you’ll go to Antarctica and experience all the isolated wonder, before moving through Chile, Peru, Ecuador and the Panama Canal. You’ll see some of the best of Mexico, the USA and Canada on your way to Milwaukee where the adventure will come to an end. If you want to head in the opposite direction on Viking Polaris, the other longitudinal cruise sails for 71 days via 33 ports, from Duluth in Minnesota to Ushuaia in Argentina, leaving on September 12, 2023. On both cruises you can expect a very personalised experience with only 378 guests on-board. You can also expect luxury in any suite category, with even the Nordic Balcony Stateroom packing in 20 square metres, floor-to-ceiling windows, a private bath and king-sized bed. Expect to be paying around $69,000 if you’re hoping to get yourself on-board, with the first of the two departures already extremely close to booking out.For more information, click here
