Princess returns to the Antarctic

Princess Cruises has announced it will be returning to Antarctica during the 2019/20 South America season.

The Coral Princess will be setting off for the coldest continent on earth for three special itineraries. “I’m delighted to announce that Princess is returning to Antarctica,” said Senior Vice President Princess Cruises Asia Pacific, Stuart Allison. “There are few places that conjure up the mystique and awe that is synonymous with the world’s most isolated continent and returning to the region strengthens our position in the industry as the destination experts. “Australian and New Zealand guests will be spoilt for choice when selecting fly- cruise itineraries, with sailings ranging from 16 to 34 days on departures from Fort Lauderdale, Buenos Aires and Santiago.” The December 2019-February 2020 South American season which went on sale this morning, will also see sister ships, Coral Princess and Island Princess circumnavigate the entire continent of South America. Calling to 18 countries on itineraries ranging from 14 to 58 days, the iconic season features 14 departures on nine unique itineraries. Additional highlights include:

•  31 uniquely South American destinations, including Easter Island, Machu Picchu and Iguazú Falls.
•  A 58-day Circle South America roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale with overnight stays in Lima, Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro.
