Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings has made changes to its cruise loyalty rewards status across its three brands – Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

The biggest changes will be felt at the top tiers, where guests crossing between brands, especially Oceania and RSSC, may see their status recognised at a lower level.

Both brands will see their top tier compressed under the new structure with Oceania’s President Circle now morphing into Diamond.

At RSSC, the upper tiers have been narrowed with Commodore and Diamond changed to Titanium while the former Titanium is now recognised as Platinum.

At NCL, the line’s highest Latitudes Rewards tier, Ambassador, is now capped at Diamond when compared to Oceania, rather than the President’s Circle.

When matched to RSSC, NCL’s Ambassador is capped at Titanium instead of Commodore.

NCLH said that the updated structure is to better align those differences across its portfolio of three brands. The company did not announce any changes to onboard benefits within each individual loyalty program.

“As you know, Latitudes Rewards members enjoy their loyalty status when cruising with Regent Seven Seas Cruises and Oceania Cruises. As part of our ongoing commitment to deliver a consistent and rewarding experience across all NCHL brands, we’ve refined our status honouring tier recognition structure,” NCLH said in a statement.

The changes do not alter NCL’s own rewards tier ladder, which will run from Bronze to Ambassador within the Latitudes Rewards program.

The cross-brand loyalty program at NCLH was only introduced in September last year with the first sailings eligible for matched benefits across its three brands kicking off in October last year.
