- Global tour company and new river cruise line Trafalgar is adding a new ship to its fleet.
- Trafalgar Harmonie is expected to start sailing in April 2027.
- She’ll sail on the Seine, starting with a best of Paris and Normandy sailing.
Trafalgar continues its growth plan, with the announcement of a new ship to debut in April 2027. Trafalgar Harmonie will sail on the Seine and become the third ship in the line’s fleet.
Trafalgar will only debut as a river cruise line this year, when it brings its first two ships to the European waterways, with Trafalgar Reverie and Trafalgar Verity.
The new ship will take in 126 passengers, decorated with Trafalgar’s typical earth tones. Every stateroom will have a river view, maximising viewing opportunities as guests float down the Seine. The ships will bring French culture onboard through the cuisine and entertainment program.
Excitingly, river cruise itineraries can be easily combined with land trips for those looking for a longer or more varied experience overall.
An eight-day sailing starts from AUD$5699, with most itineraries run as roundtrips out of Paris.
Damien O’Connor, Vice President, River Cruise, Trafalgar said: “As Trafalgar expands its river cruise fleet, debuting on one of Europe’s most iconic waterways is a natural next step.
“France remains a perennial favourite among our travellers, and this new Seine itinerary offers a fresh way to experience the destination through immersive river cruising, brought to life with Trafalgar’s signature experiences and storytelling.”
Andrew Young, Senior Vice President Sales Oceania for TTC Tour Brands said: “France remains a top-tier destination for our Australian guests. The launch of the Best of the Seine with Paris & Normandy itinerary aboard the Trafalgar Harmonie is designed to integrate perfectly with our extensive land tours departing from Paris. By connecting river and rail with our signature seamless booking process, we’re empowering agents to build immersive, multi-modal journeys with ease.”
