- The launch comes as Egypt enjoys heightened interest with the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum.
- Nile Seray will have 32 elegant suites to accommodate only 64 guests.
Nile Seray, A&K Sanctuary’s new luxurious riverboat on the Nile, has opened bookings for its inaugural season in October.
The debut of Nile Seray comes at an opportune time as interest in Egypt as a destination has been heightened with the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum in November last year. As the world’s largest archaeological museum, the museum displays more than 100,000 artifacts including the complete collection of King Tutankhamun’s treasures for the first time.
A&K Sanctuary says the launch of Nile Seray will complement the new golden age of Egyptian travel, offering a refined sanctuary to explore both the museum and Egypt’s timeless temples and tombs.

The 32-suite Nile Seray to accommodate 64 guests, will feature modern elegance with heritage touches to reflect Egypt’s historic legacy. She has will have a contemporary design, use of natural materials with floor-to-ceiling windows so that guests can watch the ever-changing views of the Nile valley.
There will be two restaurants with indoor and outdoor dining to take in the changing scenery of passing feluccas and ancient monuments. Nile Seray’s centrepiece will be the top deck, a serene retreat featuring a swimming pool and canopied daybeds. It will be the ideal place for guests to linger over cocktails while watching the amazing sunset.

Nile Seray will offer four-night voyages sailing between Aswan and Luxor with daily excursions to the temples of Luxor, Karnak and Aswan.
Every journey will include complimentary insider access to Egypt’s most magnificent tombs on the West Bank with exclusive private opening to the tombs of King Tutankhamun and Amenhotep III. Guests will be accompanied by A&K’s expert Egyptologists who will provide an archaeological experience that goes further than the standard sightseeing tours. There will also be Egyptian cooking classes and traditional entertainment onboard.
Nile Seray will offer the “most sophisticated option with a level of personalisation that A&K is known for,” the company said.
Prices for a four-night voyage start from US$3125 ($4668) pp.
