Tauck will expand its river cruise offerings in Europe with five new itineraries in 2027 on the back of growing demand. Tauck will also debut two new riverboats – ms Saudade on the Douro and ms Reverie on the Seine.

Tauck will introduce a new six-day river cruise in late 2026 which will be expanded in 2027, to focus on the shoulder seasons in March and November with milder weather and fewer crowds. This will make river cruising more accessible to travellers with tight holiday schedules.
The line will offer a six-day itinerary, Essence of the Seine, a round-trip from Paris which will debut on ms Reverie. The cruise will sail through the heart of Normandy visiting Rouen and the D-Day beaches of Normandy. There will be a cider and calvados tasting in Vernon and a gala evening at a historic chateau. Prices start at $5290 pp.
There will also be a six-day cruise Essence of the Danube from Budapest and Vienna aboard ms Joy, departing in October and November including an exclusive gala dinner with live performance at the Palais Palavinci in Vienna. Prices start from $4540pp.
In Portugal, Tauck will also offer another six-day itinerary, Essence of the Douro from Porto to Barca d’Alva aboard the new ship ms Saudade with countryside bike tours, dinner at an acclaimed waterfront restaurant and cocktail-making workshops.
The company will offer a total of 37 European river cruises in 2027 including six designed specially for families.
