Guests will also be able to combine the cruise with a tailor-made Machu Picchu extension, a trek through the Inca Trail or a rail journey.

Cocktails will feature coca leaf and dragonโ€™s blood resin while desserts will include hearts of palm with passion fruit, Peruvian chocolate mixed with exotic fruit.

Pure Amazonโ€™s accommodation and public spaces have been transformed with the collaboration of Peruvian artists with specially commissioned pieces.

The dining roomโ€™s centrepiece is a handcrafted bronze and clay display made to look like the Amazonโ€™s giant fish scales. Every suite will be furnished with authentic textiles designed by master artist Deysi Ramirez painted with natural dyes. There will also be hand-embroidered cushions made by indigenous women artists.
