AmaWaterways has announced a new partnership with Mandarin Oriental, a huge name in hospitality across the globe. The brands will come together to create holidays that mix cruise and land travel, transitioning between comfort and luxury on the ground and in the waterways.

Catherine Powell, CEO of AmaWaterways said: โ€œThis partnership brings together two brands that share a passion for delivering authentic, personalized luxury.

โ€œThese exclusive experiences align perfectly with our commitment to thoughtfully curated travel.  Our guests will have the chance to enjoy the legendary elegance of Mandarin Oriental properties while further enhancing their journey with AmaWaterways, combining the highest standards of service and attention to detail both on land and on the river.โ€

The new holiday packages will launch from 2026, with new pre and post-cruise experiences set to be available across a range of iconic European cities, such as Barcelona, Paris, Prague, Vienna, Amsterdam, Geneva, Madrid and Zurich.

For an idea of what your pre or post-cruise experience might look like, picture private drivers and guides whisking you around a city, daily excursions based around culinary and cultural activities, Mandarin Oriental accommodations and everything being organised with door-to-door all-inclusive luxury.

Then your experience will effortlessly transition into an AmaWaterways cruise, one of the more luxurious lines you can find on Europeโ€™s waterways. The line puts a special emphasis on health and wellness, with walking tracks, fitness rooms, a spa and dedicated wellness hosts.
