If you are dreaming of a white Christmas in Europe this year, itโ€™s still not too late to book a river cruise to celebrate the yuletide season.

Thereโ€™s also a six-day cruise from Budapest to Vienna visiting the iconic Christmas markets at Bratislava, the city of music, Vienna where you can wander around itโ€™s historic squares and Budapestโ€™s thermal baths. Abercombie & Kent

Abercrombie & Kent still has available cabins for a small group journey on the sought-after Nile cruises.

Thereโ€™s a 13-day itinerary from Petra to the Pyramids with a Nile yacht cruise departing on 20 December. Your adventure starts in Amman in Jordan and visits Wadi Rum, Petra, the Dead Sea, Cairo, a four-night cruise on the Nile before disembarking at Kom Ombo. You will then spend two nights in Cairo to take in Abu Simbel and the marvels of Giza.

Prices start from $27,270 per person.

Thereโ€™s also a 13-day, small group journey on Egypt and the Nile, departing 20 December.
