Viking receives top gong for both river and ocean categories

• Viking has been voted number 1 for River and number 1 for Ocean categories by Conde Nast Traveler.

Viking has received the top gong for River and Ocean categories by Conde Nast Traveler in this year’s Readers’ Choice Awards.

The award marks the fifth consecutive year that Viking has been voted as the number one in both river and ocean categories.

“To be recognised as number 1 for Rivers and number 1 for Oceans five years in a row is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire Viking family,” said Torstein Hagen, Chairman and CEO of Viking. “Viking has always been quite a bit different in the travel industry. We do not try to be all things to all people, which is why our voyages have no children, no casinos and no nickel and diming. Viking said that no other travel company has simultaneously received such honours by both publications.
