Explora Journeys to visit Asia for the first time in 2027/28

• Explora III will make maiden calls to Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Thailand and Singapore.
• Guests will be able to immerse themselves in local cultural traditions across Asian capital cities.
• Explora V will also debut in the Mediterranean and Saudi Arabia during the season.

Explora Journeys will head to Asia for the first time in 2027-28.

Explora III will make maiden calls to Japan, South Korea, China, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore offering over 28 immersive voyages.

With overnight stays in Tokyo, Osaka, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Ha Long Bay and Bali, guests will be able to engage in local life from the autumn leaves of Kyoto to Chinese Golden Week in Shanghai.

Explora’s debut in Asia is part of the line’s 100 voyages unveiled for 2027/28 which will also see the launch of Explora V, its fifth ship, which will sail in the Mediterranean in December 2027 before heading to the Red Sea and Arabian Peninsula.

During her inaugural season, Explora V will visit Malta, Sicily and Istanbul. She will make a maiden call to Salerno, gateway to the Amalfi Coast and spend New Year’s Eve in Naples where guests can watch the spectacular fireworks from the sea.

Following her Mediterranean debut, Explora V will then cruise to join Explora I and offer a range of itineraries in Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Bahrain.

Meanwhile, Explora II and Explora IV will operate in the Caribbean, Central America and South America during the 2027/28 season.
