Princess is readying the Royal Princess for her season in Australia and New Zealand with a drydock in late 2026, followed by two sailings around Southeast Asia.
The Southeast Asia Grand Adventure
The Royal Princess will wrap up the Alaska 2026 season and will then sail on a 26-night Southeast Asia, Japan and Alaska Grand Adventure Cruise from September 19, 2026.
The itinerary includes visits to destinations such as Juneau, College Fjord, Whittier, as well as the Hubbard Glacier. Â
Royal Princess then sails across the Pacific to Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Vietnam.
The ship will then arrive in Singapore on October 16.
Royal Princess’ drydock and Southeast Asian cruises
Royal Princess will undergo a two-week dry dock before emerging on November 1 for a nine-night Southeast Asia cruise visiting Ho Chi Minh City with an overnight in Bangkok.
The ship will sail to Ko Samui.
This will be followed by a 13-night Southeast Asia cruise departing Singapore on November 10. The ship will also call in Lombok, Indonesia.
Guests can combine the two cruises into a Southeast Asia and Australia cruise that will visit Darwin, Yorkeys Knob and Brisbane before arriving in Sydney on November 25.
Other Asian deployments for Princess
The announcement of Royal Princess’ arrival in Singapore follows news of other major deployments in the region, including the arrival of Discovery Princess in October this year as well as the Sapphire Princess and Diamond Princess scheduled to homeport in Japan for the first time in 2027.
