- Zambezi Trader will offer two, three and four-night sailings between Msuna Islands and Lake Kariba.

Zambezi Cruise & Safaris has a new river ship, Zambezi Trader which will offer magical holiday itineraries on Lake Kariba.
The “Trader” as it is affectionately known, will offer sailings of two, three and four nights between Msuna Island and Lake Kariba. Msuna Island is about a three-hour drive from Victoria Falls or a 30-minute flight. This means that guests will be able to explore four iconic destinations in one itinerary – Victoria Falls, Hwange National Park, the Zambezi River/Lake Kariba and Chobe National Park, according to Latte Luxury News.
Guests will be able to go on excursions along the river’s tributaries and experience activities such as game viewing, bird watching and fishing. Zambezi Cruise & Safaris can also organize tours to visit the local Tongan Chiefs Kraal and a Tongan village.
The company plans to add game drives and walks into the Private Devil’s Gorge Conservatory in 2026.
Zambezi Trader has 29 cabins and suites across three decks including five family suites. There’s also a cocktail bar, pool deck, private dining room and a lounge.
