Regent Seven Seas, one of the most luxurious cruise lines in the world, is moving from strength to strength with the first day of bookings for its new ship Seven Seas Prestige shattering booking records. The launch of the new ship broke the previous record for bookings on a launch day by 26%.

The demand was so strong that even the Skyview Regent Suite, a picture of opulence that starts from $40,000 a night, has already sold out on six of the 13 available voyages aboard the new Seven Seas Prestige.

This is also a record for the line, as the best performance of a top-tier product that the cruise line has ever seen on the launch day of a new ship.

Seven Seas Prestige is set to be delivered to the cruise line late next year, and will represent the beginning of the first new ship class that the cruise line has had for a decade.

The ship has been specifically designed to elevate the lines luxury offerings, with the ship build 40% bigger than the cruise lineโ€™s other ships, but with capacity for only 10% more passengers, offering more space and intimate service to each passenger.

All cabins are balcony suites, including of course the Skyview Regent Suite and its massive 817 square metres.

Every guest receives Starlink WiFi, fine wines and spirits, unlimited shore excursions, specialty dining, laundry service and more as part of their cruise fare.

Whatโ€™s on offer so far for the new ship are 13 voyages across Europe and the Caribbean. Starting with a sailing from Barcelona to Miami, the ship will continue around the Americas, visiting ports like Cartagena and St Lucia in the Caribbean, with many itineraries including overnight stays.

While it doesnโ€™t come cheap, you donโ€™t have to shell out $40,000 a night if you want to get onboard.

A two-week sailing on Seven Seas Prestige starts from about $12,255, meaning youโ€™ll be paying about $875 per night of sailing.

Jason Montague, chief luxury officer for Regent Seven Seas Cruises said of the new ships booking success: โ€œIโ€™m absolutely thrilled, but not surprised, by the phenomenal results that Seven Seas Prestige has produced โ€“ we knew that luxury travelers were extremely eager to reserve their suite on this incredible ship.

โ€œSeven Seas Prestige promises to begin a new legacy for the entire ultra-luxury cruise sector, and we cannot wait until she joins the fleet in December 2026. Iโ€™d like to thank our valued guests and Travel Partners, as well as Regentโ€™s highly talented and professional teams around the world who all contributed to this fantastic achievement.โ€
