CroisiEurope has announced plans to expand its fleet in the Amazon market with a new five-anchor ship ready to sail in 2027. This will be the first CroisiEurope ship to operate in South America and their first newbuild ship since 2020.
The ship will feature 16 suites and accommodate up to 32 guests in total. The cabins will be complete with private balconies, including two presidential suites. Onboard, a gourmet restaurant will feature locally inspired Brazilian meals. The ship will also feature an onboard spa, fitness room, sun deck, and conference room.
CroisiEurope is also promoting more enhanced eco-friendly measures in their new ship builds. Engines that meet strict environmental standards, and an advanced wastewater treatment system, plus solar panels, will each feature onboard the new Amazon build.
The itinerary will include 12 days along the Brazilian Amazon, where passengers will travel the Rio Negro, the Solimões, the Arapiuns and the Tapajós to the Colombian border.
Itinerary details are not yet available, and bookings are not yet open.Â
CroisiEurope addedan expansion on the Nile
In addition to the newbuild ship in Brazil, CroisiEurope will also operate additional Nile cruise options in Egypt on the chartered RV Star of Luxor.
The Star of Luxor can accommodate 106 guests in 45 exterior cabins and eight suites. The ship features a restaurant, lounge and bar, a library, and sun deck.
The chartered Nile itineraries will operate between March and December 2025 and again between February and December 2026.
As an added incentive for guests on the “Nile: The Land of the Pharaohs” cruise, CroisiEurope is enlisting an Egyptologist lecturer who will be onboard, as well as shore excursions that embrace the best of Egypt, including visits to temples, tombs, pyramids and villages along the river. Additional highlights will also include exploring the Karnak Temple Complex, the Temple of Horus and the Temple of Kom Ombo.
