The Mediterranean

No matter how often you have been to the Mediterranean, you will find the big-hearted spirit of the region irresistible. It’s hard not to fall in love with its stylish, and sometimes rustic, resorts, islands and cities. You will also relish its traditional dishes, made from recipes passed down for centuries.

Regent delights in offering immersive exploration of the ports and cities it visits. In the south of France, you can explore the village of Port Grimaud, designed in the 1960s with narrow waterways, arched bridges and colourful homes, before touring the medieval hilltop hamlet of Grimaud, which, in stark contrast, is filled with beautiful, restored 15th-century houses painted in glorious pastel colours.

Coast to Coast Italy: Rome to Venice

If you like everything Italian and are also eager to savour the delights of Corfu in Greece, Kotor in Montenegro, and Rijeka in Croatia, then reserve your suite on the 10-night Coast to Coast Italy voyage on Seven Seas Splendor, which departs 2 July 2025.

A highlight of the shore excursion to Kotor is a visit to the tiny village of Perast with its ornate 17th-century Saint Nicholas Church. You will then take a boat to the amazing Gospa Islet, a man-made island where the Virgin Mary was once sighted. When you return to Kotor, go on a guided walking tour of the old town.

Heritage Sites & Greek Isles: Istanbul to Venice (Trieste)

This 9-night voyage on Seven Seas Mariner departs Istanbul on 13 October 2025. After cruising the Aegean Sea, your first stop will be Ephesus, one of the best-preserved ancient cities in the world. Once a powerful city during the Roman Empire, it was also home to one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the Temple of Artemis.

Visit the excavated treasures of this UNESCO World Heritage site, such as the 24,000-seat Great Theatre and the Terrace Houses, once inhabited by Ephesus’ wealthiest residents. Afterwards, it’s time for a lunch of Turkish specialities, before shopping for antique jewellery pieces.

Northern Europe

Images of rugged coastlines and pretty storybook villages immediately come to mind when you mention Northern Europe. If you have always dreamed of seeing the Aurora Borealis or the Midnight Sun, then you can head to the Scandinavian countries. It’s as magical as it sounds.

Regent offers a range of itineraries that discover the charms of Northern Europe while encouraging you to explore, dine and savour. From Amsterdam’s canals to Ireland’s castles, there is
so much to see and do.

For its Northern Europe itineraries, Regent tends to overnight in Glasgow, Liverpool, Copenhagen, Berlin and Amsterdam. You can also sail from London to Reykjavik or vice versa; Paris to Oslo; and London to Edinburgh. The choices are vast.

Promenades, Canals & Cafes: Stockholm to Amsterdam

If you adore the idea of visiting some of the most attractive cities in Northern Europe, such as Helsinki, Berlin, Copenhagen, Amsterdam or London, then this 12-night cruise on Seven Seas Navigator is designed for you.

The cruise departs Stockholm on 7 July 2025 and your first port of call is Helsinki. You will then cruise the Baltic Sea before reaching Klaipeda in Lithuania, then Gdansk in Poland and overnighting in Denmark’s capital, Copenhagen. Make sure you visit the Danish royal family’s majestic Amalienborg Palace.

When Seven Seas Navigator sails into Berlin, make a beeline for the Brandenburg Gate and explore the city’s edgy art scene.

In free-spirited Amsterdam, there is lots to occupy your time besides taking a boat ride on its glistening canals. You can head out to two hamlets in the countryside that capture the Dutch people’s special relationship with the sea. Volendam is full of fishing vessels and seafood vendors, while many locals in Marken still wear their colourful ancestral costumes.
