Caribbean, top destination for cruisers
DiningTahiti may be the next cruise hot spot, but the Caribbean is the number one destination of choice for cruisers this year.
A Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) survey found the Caribbean came out on top, followed by the Mediterranean, Alaska and Hawaii.
Other up and coming destinations this year were Central and South America, Northern Europe and the Baltic. Australia and New Zealand were also gaining ground.
The study also found the top reason for cruising is the comfort of knowing the ship supplies everything you need, including food, drinks, entertainment and transport to destinations.
