This prize is valid for travel on Singapore Airlines or SilkAir operated services only and is valued at AU$2,280. Prize value is correct at time of printing but no responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of any prizes. The prize includes two (2) Economy Class return airfares to Amsterdam via Singapore. Passengers can depart from Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Cairns, Darwin, Melbourne, Perth or Sydney.
The tickets must be booked through the Singapore Airlines Melbourne office at least thirty (30) days prior to desired departure date. Changes are not permitted after ticketing. Ticket booking must be completed by 31 March 2020. Travel must be completed by 31 March 2021. Travel is not permitted during peak travel times, e.g. Christmas, School Holidays, Easter and other blackout periods may apply. Travel will be subjected to seat availability and travel embargoes.
The tickets are only valid for a maximum stay of thirty (35) days, any unused portion of the tickets after the expiry date shall be deemed null and void. Passenger(s) will be required to pay the relevant associated government and airport taxes, levies and surcharges. You will also be responsible for all travel costs to and from the point of departure, spending money, travel insurance, freight, excess baggage, meals, ground transportation, accommodation and any other expenses. Payment for Government taxes and airport charges must be made prior to ticket being issued and are payable by cash or credit card (a credit card service fee of 1.35% apply).
No changes or cancellations are allowed. An airport no-show will result in the tickets being forfeited. The tickets are not eligible for an upgrade to a higher class and will not attract frequent flyer points. This prize is non-negotiable, non-transferable, non-exchangeable for cash in part or in full, and may not be sold to any third party. Passengers must travel together on all sectors.
It is recommended to make your flight reservations as soon as possible as flights are strictly subject to availability and confirmation. Your preferred dates/flights may not be available and you will need to be flexible with travel dates/flights.
It is the responsibility of the individual to advise of any medical conditions, allergies or dietary requirements in advance of the competition. We recommend you take out travel insurance prior to travel, as it is not included.
If the winner is unavailable to travel within the period stipulated by the Promoter, the winner will forfeit the prize, which they are unable to redeem. In the event that the winner is unable to redeem the prize on the date stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize will be forfeited by the winner and neither cash nor another prize will be awarded in lieu of the forfeited prize. In the event that the entire prize is forfeited by the winner, the Promoter will award the prize to the next valid entry as determined by the judges appointed by the Promoter. Prizes must be taken as specified by the Promoter. This prize can only be used by the winner and may not be transferred to another individual(s). Standard terms and conditions of travelling with Singapore Airlines will apply, including any applicable age restrictions.
The value of this prize and inclusions are correct at time of printing and subject to change at any time. Any change to the prize between the publishing date and the date the prize is claimed is not the responsibility of the promoter(s).
Entries close at 5:00PM AEST January 10, 2020. One (1) entry will be selected from all entries. The prize is non-negotiable, and may not be replaced or refunded.
As a condition of entry, entrants must agree to receive mail and/or email newsletters/ brochures from Singapore Airlines and Cruise Passenger.
Entrants can only enter the competition once. Prize-winner will be notified by Cruise Passenger by January 17, 2020. The winner will be contacted by email. This promotion does not involve a round in which players are eliminated. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible or liable for:
(i) inaccurate / incorrect transcription of entry information;
(ii) purported entries that are not received for any reason, including because they are lost, misdirected or stolen, or that are received, but are late, illegible, incomplete, or sent other than as directed in the entry instructions;
(iii) any problems or technical failures of any kind, including malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems or network, servers or providers, computer equipment, or software;
(iv) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any service whether or not caused by traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website;
(v) unauthorised human intervention in any part of the competition;
(ii) (vi) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the competition;
(vii) any loss suffered or sustained, to person or property and including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter, or its servants or agents, in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by any person to a prize winner and, where applicable, to any family/persons accompanying a winner; or
(viii) any injury or damage to persons or property, including to the participant’s or any other person’s computer related to, or resulting from, participation or downloading any materials in this competition;
(ix) In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions.
