Stay in the loop without spending hours trying to log onto the Internet at sea, with Seabourn’s new customisable digital newspaper and magazine service.
PressReader Offline offers access to full editions of global newspapers and magazines.
Guests can choose their favourites from a selection of more than 2,500 publications that are downloaded onto personal iOS or Android mobile devices.
Seabourn Odyssey, Seabourn Sojourn and Seabourn Quest will also have a small supply of tablets with PressReader already downloaded for guests who did not board with a mobile device.
PressReader chief commercial officer Igor Smirnoff says the technology solves the challenges of trying to access newspaper and magazine websites via a cruise ship’s broadband network.
“We pride ourselves on giving our guests the highest quality amenities as well as all of the comforts of home during their cruise,” Seabourn president Richard Meadows said.
“With PressReader Offline, we are setting new standards for customer service by keeping our guests connected to the daily news and events from around the world – a service they’ve come to expect during their travels.”
