St. Kitts criminals charged

St Kitts: Three of the four men arrested in connection with the robbery of 17 cruise passengers at gunpoint have been charged with the crime.

Cruise Passenger reported last week that Celebrity Mercury passengers were on a tour bus for the ‘Essential St.Kitts’ shore tour when armed robbers boarded their bus and escaped with jewelry, cash and cameras.

Police have named the robbers as Junior “Q” Sobrati, Devon “X-Man” Hodge and Grenville “Rogie” Rogers, all from Sandy Point, and still have warrants to arrest two more people believed to be involved.

So far, only Carnival Cruise Lines and Princess Cruises have suspended calls to the island this week but Celebrity CruisesCelebrity Millennium and Eclipse are scheduled to visit in the coming weeks, although without the ‘Essential St. Kitts’ shore excursion option or any other tours that visit the scene of the crime.
