Sir David Frost dies on a cruise ship

Veteran journalist and broadcaster, Sir David Frost, has died at age 74 while aboard Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth.

Well-known for his TV interviews with former US-president Richard Nixon, Frost was due to give a speech on the ship, but suffered a heart attack before taking the stage, his family said.

The reporter’s family have asked for privacy during this period and advised, “a family funeral will be held in the near future and details of a memorial service will be announced in due course”.
