SeaDream Yacht Club adds pre- and post-cruise excursions to mysterious Machu Picchu.
Adding to the complement of South American experiences already offered on its maiden 2012 Amazon tours, boutique cruise line SeaDream Yacht Club will offer passengers pre-and post-cruise tours the ancient Inca site of Machu Picchu.
Passengers will have the choice of taking three- to six-night options from Iquitos, where luxurious SeaDream II will end the first of her two Amazon voyages and begin the second, sailing in the opposite direction, on March 4.
Run by local licensed tour guides, the Machu Picchu excursions will include accommodation in five-star hotels, transport on Orient-Express train Hiram Bingham, lunch at Wayra Ranch and afternoon tea at the Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge – where guests on the longer journey options will stay overnight.
