Scenic Tours has increased its USA products, with two new itineraries.
The 2015 USA program, unveiled this week, includes a 17-day cruise and land tour from Seattle to San Francisco.
Departing in July and August 2015 aboard steamboat American Empress, the cruise along the Snake and Columbia Rivers includes stops in Spokane, Clarkston, Sacajawea State Park, The Dalles, Stevenson, Astoria, Portland, Crater Lake and Ashland.
There’s also the new 26-day land itinerary from Edmonton to Las Vegas travelling by VIA Rail’s ‘The Canadian’.
The itinerary includes two nights in Waterton Lakes, Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks.
New cultural and dining experiences have also been added to the brochure.
New options include a tour of Magnolia Plantation and Gardens in Charleston, an Oregon Shakespeare Festival performance, a tour of the Flight Aviation Centre and Boeing factory in Seattle as well as a walking tour of Portland’s curbside cuisine.
“Our USA program is only in its third year but our wide range of itineraries, which appeal to history, nature, culture and food lovers alike, are proving extremely popular,” Scenic general manager product Aleisha Fittler said.
