Scenic Tours has expanded its European river fleet, with the launch of two new ‘Space-Ships’.
Scenic Jade and Scenic Gem made their debut on cruises along the Rhine, Main and Danube rivers.
The launch brings the number of Scenic ‘Space-Ships’ sailing in Europe up to nine.
Scenic Jade will operate on the 15-day Jewels of Europe River Cruise from Amsterdam to Budapest.
Scenic Gem will sail along the same route until she relocated to France in July for a new itinerary, the 11-day Gems of the Seine River Cruise.
The itinerary will take guests from Paris to Honfleur. Highlights include a visits to Château-de-Champlâtreux; Giverny – the home of Monet; Richard the Lion heart’s castle ruin in Les Andelys; the ‘City of a Hundred Spires’, Rouen; the Somme battlefields and visits to Caude bec-en-Caux and the Normandy beaches.
Both ships deliver Scenic’s all-inclusive experience including a private butler service and unlimited beverages.
Cuisine onboard includes the French tradition of dégustation at Table La Rive with boutique wines from some of Europe’s best wineries.
The line has another two ships beings built to sail the Rhine, Main and Danube rivers from 2015.
