Scenic Tours will launch a new itinerary in Bordeaux, France in 2015 to meet growing demand from cruisers wanting to experience the country’s history.
The ten-night World Heritage Listed cruise aboard Scenic Diamond takes guests to Cadillac, Libourne, Blaye and Pauillac before arriving in Bordeaux.
The tour will include visits to local wineries as well as showcase the city’s historic Gothic architecture.
Other changes to the 2015 program include the addition of two new Scenic ‘Space-Ships’, Scenic Opel and Scenic Jasper.
Sailing on the Rhine, Main and Danube rivers, the two ships offer guests the largest suites on the rivers as well as new vitality pools with a plunge pool on one side and a jet pool on the other side.
Managing director Glen Moroney said he is excited for the 2015 program and fleet growth.
“We are still experiencing extraordinary growth on the popular Amsterdam to Budapest route and our expansion in France, where we are tripling capacity, is to meet consumer demand from repeat cruisers,” he said.
