Royal Caribbean has released Quantum of the Seas’ Asian itineraries, which will see the ship visit ports in China, India and Southeast Asia.
The ship, which is scheduled to launch in November this year, will sail from the US to arrive in Shanghai in May next year where she will be based out of Shanghai for the wave season.
She will sail three- to- eight-night itineraries year-round from China.
Among the itineraries is a three-night short Malaysia itineraries departing Singapore on 12 June with a call in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The nine-night Exotic Asia itinerary departs 15 June and calls in Ho Chi Minh, Xiamen and Hong Kong. Then there is the 14-night India and Southeast Asia itinerary departing 29 May with calls in Dubai, Cochin, Singapore, Muscat and Penang.
The 4,180-passenger vessel is scheduled to launch in November this year. Her inaugural season will be spent sailing on cruises from New York.
She will feature a range of at-sea firsts, including the Ripcord by iFLY – a zip line; the North Star, which will take guests 300 feet in the air; a skydiving experience; and the largest indoor sports and entertainment complex at sea.
