For cruisers who want to explore the inlands of France, going by river is a fantastic way to experience the country’s best food and to visit some amazing historical sites. Cruise lines such as Evergreen, APT, Scenic and soon, Crystal Cruises have ships that explore the River Rhone and the River Seine. One of the most popular river itineraries for France is starting a cruise from Paris. Guests will sail past the iconic Eiffel Tower and visit famous attractions such as the Arc de Triomphe, Musée du Louvre and Notre Dam cathedral. This famous route along the River Seine will take you to destinations such as Giverny to see Monet’s garden with its famous lily ponds, Rouen – known as the City with 100 Spires, all the way to Honfleur on the coast.
