Can you mix ocean and river cruising? Celebrity Cruises is about to find out by offering European river and ocean cruise holiday packages.

The line have 11 packages available and will offer passengers options to explore Europe on rivers like the Danube, Rhine, Rhone and Seine.   On the sea, Celebrity will cruise around the Mediterranean, Scandinavia, Turkey and other destinations.

President and CEO of Celebrity Cruises, Michael Bayley said this is a great way for travellers to experience all Europe has to offer.

“Our guests want to continue seeing more of the world with Celebrity and we are dedicated to providing them with the most destination-rich vacations,” he said.

“By introducing these river-and-ocean packages, travellers can immerse themselves in Europe more so than ever with the ease of choosing a vacation package exclusively created by Celebrity.”

The packages range from 16 to 24 nights and include gourmet dining with a menu prepared by featured chef a James Beard- featured chef, fully guided tours and excursions, flights to a major European city near the ocean cruise ports, one to two night luxury hotel accommodation before embarking on the cruise, transfers from the airport to the hotel and ocean cruise port and Celebrity Cruises Classic Beverage Package.

Passengers will board river ships like Amadeus Symphony and explore the South of France, then hop on board the Celebrity Equinox to sail around the Mediterranean.

Celebrity Cruises have also included their newest ship, Celebrity Reflections in the packages and it will take passengers to St Kitts, St Maarten and other islands around the Caribbean.
