Pandaw Cruises will operate a new eight-day itinerary on the Brahmaputra River in north-east India.

The first cruise commences on 29 March 2015 aboard 46-passenger luxury river cruise ship, MV Mahabaahu.

Pandaw guests will board the ship at Guwahati and head into the Assam province where they will meet the Mishing people and learn more about the area’s heritage of tea making.

There are also boat and jeep trips to visit exotic wildlife such as single horned rhinos, buffaloes, Indian tigers and river dolphins.

Other port visits include Silghat, Bishwanath Ghat, Majuli and Neamati Ghat.

Until 30 November 2014, cruisers can book the cruise from $2,777 (US$2,430) per person twin share.
