New interconnecting family cabins and a giant entertainment screen are predicted to be winners with passengers on Queensland-based Pacific Dawn after a recently announced refurbishment is completed in April 2012.
What’s more, 50 suites and mini-suites will receive new furnishings and carpets; the Begal Bar will be transformed into the Orient Pub, with sporting memorabilia, Chesterfield lounges and a wide range of draft beers and ciders; and Baccus Bar will be transformed into Mix Cocktail Bar (already established on Pacific Pearl and Pacific Jewel).
The show lounge, buffet and Pan-Asian restaurant ‘La Luna‘ will also get some shine, but it is the new state-of-the-art LED Big Screen on deck that is expected to bring on the smiles.
“From next year, Pacific Dawn’s passengers will join in the fun as they watch karaoke performances from the comfort of a deckchair or catch the latest release movies,” said Sture Myrmell, Vice President of Hotel Operations at Carnival Australia.
