World’s largest ships to sail the Caribbean in 2015
NewsRoyal Caribbean will have the most capacity sailing out of the Caribbean during the winter season 2015-16, when it sends two of the world’s largest ships to the region.
Allure of the Seas and Oasis of the Seas will be joined by Freedom of the Seas and Serenade of the Seas in Florida next year to sail the Caribbean.
Together, the four ships will carry, 16,933-passengers per sailing on Western, Eastern and Southern Caribbean cruises.
As part of 2015-16 itineraries, Allure of the Seas and Oasis of the Seas will offer the same Caribbean cruises starting from their homeport at Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale. They will alternate seven-night voyages of East and West Caribbean routes.
Eastern Caribbean cruises will include calls to Nassau, The Bahamas, St Thomas and St Maarten, while the Western Caribbean itineraries sail to Falmouth, Cozumel and Labedee.
Freedom of the Seas will continue its seventh consecutive year sailing seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries from Port Canaveral. The Eastern Caribbean itinerary calls at St. Thomas, St. Maarten and CocoCay, Royal Caribbean’s private Bahamian-island paradise. The Western Caribbean itinerary calls at Grand Cayman, Falmouth, Cozumel and Labadee.
Meanwhile, Serenade of the Seas will sail a 10-night Southern Caribbean itineraries, taking guests to Tortola, St Kitts, Dominica, Antigue and St Maarten as well as an 11-night cruise with calls at Aruba, Antigue, Barbados, Bonaire, Grenada and St Lucia.
