On October 16, Royal Caribbean’s 2000-passenger Rhapsody of the Seas arrived in Sydney Harbour to begin her fourth consecutive Australian season of summer cruising. Rhapsody will sail 17 cruises, including classic South Pacific Island itineraries that include New Caledonia, Vanuatu and Fiji. This season, some new destinations have been added to the list – Champagne Bay in Vanuatu, Lautoka in Fiji and Newcastle, NSW (gateway to the Hunter Valley).

Rhapsody is particularly popular with families and offers an award-winning children’s program called ‘Adventure Ocean’. Kids’ clubs cater for a range of age groups, starting from 6-18 months all the way up to 12-17-year-olds, who have a teen-only club. The ship also boasts a 30-foot rock climbing wall, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a casino and a two-deck-high theatre hosting nightly dance spectaculars and Broadway-style productions.
