Viking announces cruises with a snow storm
NewsJust when you thought you’d seen everything, Viking Cruises’ first ocean ship claims it has the world’s first “snow grotto” at sea.
According to the company, the line has “reinvented the spa experience” to stimulate your circulatory system.
The ship’s Snow Grotto has snowflakes “gently descend from the ceiling through chilled air”.
After getting yourself in the mood with a mini snow storm, you can invigorate yourself in the sauna.
It certainly does sound very Nordic!
The May launch of the Viking Star is set to shake up cruising with a series of firsts in 2015. She will be joined by the Viking Sea and Viking Sky in 2016.
