Ever wondered what the inside of Costa Concordia looks like two and a half years after it sunk off the coast of Giglio in Italy?

Italian divers have released a new video, which takes viewers inside the wreckage just after it was refloated in September last year.

The team goes into sunken areas of the 950-foot ship to capture eerie images of staircases, corridors, shops and furniture.

Just before the video ends, the diver emerges from the murky water and into the atrium where the beautifully painted high walls showcase minimal damage – compared to areas underwater.

The video has been released days before Italian authorities make final arrangements to move the ship out of Giglio.

Once the ship is safely floating, the vessel will be towed 190-nautical miles to the Port of Genoa Voltri where she will be dismantled and recycled.
