A new fly, cruise and stay package from MSC Cruises is offering cruisers a nine-night Mediterranean voyage with three nights of festivities at the Venice Carnival in February 2012.

Guests fly on February 13 from Australia to Venice, where accommodation is provided at the four-star Hotel Ca Pisani, a luxurious base for three days of gala dinners and balls, dance performances, symphony concerts and gondola tours amid a sea of spectacular masks and costumes.

And with a personally fitted hire costume included in the price, guests are not likely to feel left out.

“On the third day you will be able to have free time or attend the optional Grand Ballo Tiepolo (Grand Ball), which is something worth treasuring at Carnival time,” said Lynne Clarke, managing director of MSC Cruises Australia and New Zealand.

Guests will then board MSC Magnifica for a nine-day round-trip Mediterranean cruise visiting Italy’s Bari, Rhodes in Greece, Israel’s Haifa and Piraeus in Greece.
