Pacific Pearl passengers will be able to experience driving at sea with the new V8 Super Car racing simulators that have been installed onboard.

Providing a realistic driving experience across a range of circuits, including Mount Panorama in Bathurst, the simulators are expected to be rolled out across the rest of the fleet later this year as part of a new range of family activities.

“With families making up one-third of P&O Cruises’ passenger numbers, the cruise line is really focused on making cruising fun for the whole family,” Carnival Australia vice president hotel operations Sture Myrmell said.

“It’s through new activities like the simulators and the Broad Shorts program that we can continue to meet our goal of being Australia’s favourite family cruise line.”
