Uniworld has launched its 2015 Europe and Russia program with six new cruises on the Rhine and Danube rivers.

The brochure, unveiled this week, has 33 all-inclusive itineraries including cruises on the line’s 19th river ship, S.S Maria Theresa, which launches in May next year.

Named after the great Maria Theresa, the Archduchess of Austria and mother of Marie Antoinette, the ship will sail on the ‘European Jewels’ itinerary from Budapest to Amsterdam. Stops include Vienna, Engelhartszell, Regensburg, Bamberg, Wurzburg, Miltenberg, Rudesheim and Cologne.

The ship will also sail on a ‘Tulips and Windmills’ itinerary from Amsterdam to Antwerp, which explores Netherlands and Belgium’s canals, windmills and tulips; and she will complete two holiday season itineraries – ‘Danube Holiday Markets’ and ‘Enchanting Christmas and New Year’s Cruise’ both cruising from Passau to Budapest.

New to Uniworld in 2015 is the 10-night ‘Delightful Danube and Prague’ cruise from Budapest to Prague.

Available from May to November on 132-passenger River Princess, the cruise includes an exclusive Vienna City of Arts tour and a behind-the-scenes tour of Prague’s Estate Theatre.

There’s also the eight-day ‘Holland and Belgium at Tulip Time’ cruise from Brussels to Amsterdam. Travelling on River Ambassador, guests will explore Belgium and Holland in the springtime with visits to Planet Chocolate for a demonstration of artisanal chocolate making and Nuenen – the home of Vincent van Gogh.

The new 13-day ‘Jewels of Spain, Portugal and the Douro River’ cruise will travel from Lisbon to Madrid with visits to three Spanish cities; Madrid, Toledo and Salamanca. There’s also 11 days of excursions including an exclusive dinner at Quinta da Avessada.

In France, Uniworld’s new S.S. Catherine along with River Royale and River Baroness will offer 22-day Ultimate France cruises from Paris to Lyon with visits to the Normandy Beaches, Paris, Bourdeaux and more.
