A familiar face to every Australian, Steve Liebmann has graced our television screens for decades as host of programs such as Today, Eyewitness News and Crime Investigation Australia. Now semi-retired, Liebmann will be joining guests next year on a river cruise aboard Avalon Waterways’ Avalon Luminary.

The eight-day Tulip Time Cruise, departing March 31, 2012, will journey down Dutch and Belgian waterways giving guests the opportunity to explore picturesque towns and cities, heritage listed windmills and gardens filled with blooming tulips.

The cruise will be Steve Liebmann’s seventh as Avalon Waterways’ Australian Ambassador.

“I’ve seen some spectacular scenery along rivers like the Rhône, Danube and Rhine, but the timing of this next cruise couldn’t be better for its visual impact,” he said. “Millions of tulips and other flowers will be coming into bloom and we’ll be able to enjoy classic Dutch landscapes among the canals and windmills.”
