Tauck launched its 2015 Luxury Worldwide Journeys and Cruises brochure, featuring new tours in Europe, Myanmar and Africa.
Unveiled this week, the 116-page brochure debuts the line’s 23- day Belle Epoch: London to Monte Carlo tour.
The itinerary starts with two nights at The Savoy in London and a journey under the Channel to France. Then guests will board Swiss Sapphire or Swiss Emerald for an 18-night river cruise.
The luxury vessel will take guests to Etretat, Honfleur, Normandy, Rouen, Breuil-en-Auge, Giverny, Vernon, Auvers-sur-Oise and Paris where guests will disembark to take a high-speed train to Lyon where the cruise along the Rhone begins.
The second half of the journey includes visits to Chalon-sur-Saone, Mercurey and south of Burgundy, Roman Vienne, Avignon, Palais des Papes and Arles where guests will disembark and take a land journey to Nice and then Monte-Carlo.
The new 13-day Myanmar: A Road Less Travelled (Southbound) holiday starts with a night in Bangkok before flying to Myanmar for a night in Yangon. After visiting 2,500-year-old Burmese temple, Sule Pagoda guests will fly to Mandalay to board a river cruiser docked on the Ayeyarwady River.
Along the way passengers will have the opportunity to visit a silversmith in Sagain; and explore temples and villages in Dhama Yazaka Pagoda.
On the eighth day, guests will disembark the ship for two days in Bagan to take a hot air balloon ride over the temples, visit museums and see a puppet performance.
The tour will then wrap up with a visit to Inle Lake before heading back to Bangkok.
Tauck has also introduced three new Africa and Middle East itineraries, including a 12-day Dubai and the Arabian Peninsula from Doha to Dubai.
Guests will experience Arabian horse riding, tour a luxury fragrance house, see the modern Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in Muscat, go 4 x 4 vehicle riding in the mountains and enjoy lunch in the middle of a fish market in Abu Dhabi.
